How would you feel about turning your unconnected car into a connected one before the end of the decade? The market for connected-car technology using palm-size devices known as dongles is growing by leaps and bounds. Dongles plug into diagnostic ports and can be linked to cellular or Wi-Fi signals via smartphones. Sounds great, but is there a price to pay?
